About this facility

What is worth knowing

Why MiniGroups?

Training in a fixed MiniGroup of four to six people combines the motivation of working out together with a coach's close attention. It costs less per person than one-to-one training, and still lets the coach watch technique, safety and exercise selection throughout.

Because the group stays the same, the coach comes to know each participant's goals, capabilities, health limitations and pace of work. The programme develops from session to session and stays matched to the group's shared goal — whether that is fitness, strength, weight loss, a return to activity or preparation for sport.

Want to train with friends?

Gather 4–6 people with a similar goal and similar availability, then get in touch. We will match you with a coach, agree a schedule that works and build a programme for the whole MiniGroup.

Frequently asked questions

How many people train together in a MiniGroup?
Small groups of 4–6 — few enough that the coach has attention for everyone.
Is it cheaper than personal training?
Yes — the cost per person is lower than one-to-one training, with much the same quality of coaching.
Do we train on our own, or in an open room with other members?
MiniGroups train in a dedicated, closed room — just your group and the coach, with nobody else and no waiting for equipment.
How do I put a group together?
All it takes is 4–6 friends, colleagues or people with a similar goal — get in touch and we will arrange the coach and the schedule.
Is the programme adapted to the group?
Yes — the coach builds one plan for the whole group, taking account of the participants' levels and goals.
